EVA树脂的用途：
(1)发泡鞋材。鞋材是我国EVA树脂主要的应用领域。在鞋材使用的EVA树脂中，醋酸乙烯含量一般在15%～22%。由于EVA树脂共混发泡制品具有柔软、弹性好、耐化学腐蚀等性能，因此被广泛应用于中旅游鞋、登山鞋、拖鞋、凉鞋的鞋底和内饰材料中。另外，这种材料还用于隔音板、体操垫和密封材领域。
(2)薄膜。EVA薄膜的主要用途是生产功能性棚膜。功能性棚膜具有较高的耐候、防雾滴和保温性能，由于聚乙烯不具有极性，即使添加一定量的防雾滴剂，其防雾滴性能也只能维持2个月左右；而添加一定量EVA树脂制成的棚膜，不仅具有较高的透光率，而且防雾滴性能也有较大提高，一般可超过4个月。另外，EVA还可用于生产包装膜、医用膜、层压膜、铸造膜等。　
(3)电线电缆。随着计算机及网络工程的不断发展，出于对机房安全的考虑，人们越来越多地使用无卤阻燃电缆和硅烷交联电缆。由于EVA树脂具有良好的填料包容性和可交联性，因此在无卤阻燃电缆、半导体屏蔽电缆和二步法硅烷交联电缆中使用较多。另外，EVA树脂还被应用于制作一些特殊电缆的护套。在电线电缆中使用的EVA 树脂，醋酸乙烯含量一般在12%～24%。 　　
(4)玩具。EVA树脂在玩具中也有较多应用，如童车轮、座垫（本EVA信息由骁龙在阿里巴巴提供)等。
(5)热熔胶。以EVA树脂为主要成分的热熔胶，由于不含溶剂，不污染环境且安全性较高，非常适合于自动化的流水线生产，因此被广泛应用于书籍无线装订、家具封边、汽车和家用电器的装配、制鞋、地毯涂层和金属的防腐涂层上。 　
(6)其他。EVA树脂在油墨、

法国阿科玛EVA树脂42-60 can be processed on most conventional equipments used for thermoplastics. It is
recommended to avoid melt temperatures above 230°C and to purge the equipment after a run is
completed. 法国阿科玛EVA树脂42-60 is soluble in aromatic solvents as toluene up to 35%, benzene up to
25% at room temperature. It is partially soluble up to 15% in MEK, MIBK and DIBK, and insoluble in
alcohols.
STORAGE, HANDLING AND SAFETY
法国阿科玛EVA树脂42-60 should be stored in standard conditions and protected from UV-light. Improper
storage conditions may cause degradation and could have consequences on physical properties of the
product. Due to its physical properties (Vicat temperature <40°C), it may be possible that the product
shows some caking. This is particularly true during summer time.

Europe’s leader in the HC EVA (High Content Ethylene - Vinyl Acetate) market has announced a revamp of its 法国阿科玛EVA树脂range.

Following research and development work, Arkema plans to launch a new 法国阿科玛EVA树脂grade combining high Vinyl Acetate content - 40% - and a low Melt Flow Index (MFI below 3). These two parameters are difficult to combine. This new grade, blended with other products, will help produce a cable with sound mechanical properties – compared to a standard 40% EVA – and very good resistance to oil explains Frédéric Vartician, General Manager of the Functional Polyolefins business.
Standard 40% EVAs normally feature high fluidity. However, in most cases this type of product does not comply with the minimum thresholds demanded by the cable market regarding elongation at break and tensile strength.
Currently undergoing testing under the test name 法国阿科玛EVA树脂X0601, the new grade is scheduled to be launched on the market at the end of 2007. The main market targeted by this grade is oil-resistant crosslinked cable and flexible cable.
法国阿科玛EVA树脂resins are ethylene copolymers with a high vinyl acetate content (18 % to 42 %). More of an elastomer than a polyethylene, they are easy to process and are compatible with a large number of polymers.
